“LOVE” Hanging Sign

Supplies:

• Popsicle sticks (4.25″ and 2.5″)
• Tacky glue
• Twine
• Hot glue
• Paint markers

Directions

1. Each letter will be made individually, then glued together at the corners.
2. To make the “L”, glue the sides of 2 long popsicle sticks together. Glue the sides of 2 short popsicle sticks together, then glue on top of the long pair in the shape of an L.
3. To make the “O”, glue a short popsicle stick at both ends of 1 long stick, then glue on top of both ends of another long popsicle stick.
4. To make the “V”, glue the sides of 2 long popsicle sticks together. Glue the sides of another 2 long popsicle sticks together, then glue on top of the other pair at the bottom in the shape of a V.
5. To make the “E”, glue the sides of 2 long popsicle sticks together on the sides and glue at the bottom of the pair of long sticks. Glue another pair of 2 short popsicles sticks together on the sides and glue at the bottom of the pair of long sticks. Glue a short popsicle stick on top of the pair of long sticks in the middle.
6. Decorate each letter with paint markers.
7. To connect the letters, glue the short sticks of the L on the left long stick of the O at the bottom. Then glue the top tight corner of the O to the top of the left pair of the sticks on the V. Then glue the top of the right pair of sticks of the V to the top corner of the E.
8. Hot glue the twine to the top of the L and the far end of the top of the E.
