VeryVera Fort Cottage was one for the books! Campers enjoyed making a delicious s’more trail mix, packaged in a camouflage bandana and stick. The only way to carry a camper’s favorite snack in style. We traded in the indoors for a much needed day in the great outdoors.
Our Culinary Director, Donna taught our campers how to make hamburger patties and how to grill them to perfection. Campers enjoyed making their own vegetable skewers. The perfect side dish for a summer lunch!
In the craft room, campers enjoyed making Campsite Landscapes. It was so much fun to see all of the different campsites. Everyone loved being creative and choosing the patterns for their tents. A special touch was added with a headshot of each camper to make their artwork truly unique.
And no picnic would be complete without Pigs in a Sleeping Bag and Peanut Butter S’mores Bars. In the kitchen, campers made another side dish and their dessert for lunch. A fun twist on Pigs in a Blanket and the classic s’more.
A day full of smiles and yummy treats. We can’t wait for s’more fun this summer!
